Tip #1: TALK ALL ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR EXPERIENCE.

I know you’ve seen it. “Hello everyone, my name is so and so. I am from this background. I’ve worked here and there. Blah blah blah.

It’s a great way to put your audience to sleep.

So if you want to become a boring speaker, talk all about yourself...instead of focusing on your audience.

Tip #2: CONFUSE PEOPLE WITH YOUR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE.

Yes. Talk a lot about product/project/idea. Keep talking about it. Confuse people by not giving them examples. Don’t you dare tell stories. And don’t be funny. Just boggle their mind with too much information. Use jargons like ROI, MIS, TPI, MTI.

It’s a great way to get your audience to check their phone instead of paying attention to you.

Tip #3: KEEP TALKING EVEN IF THEY’RE NOT LISTENING.

If you want to become a monotonous speaker, keep talking. They check their watch but don’t you dare stop until you’re done. Keep boring them. Don’t use any illustrations. Have boring voice too, it helps you sound dull. And have average body language.
